Family Tree Packages

Experienced Researchers Helping You Uncover Your Past

All of our packages include the following:

As part of our research we examine a wide range of historical records to uncover information about your ancestors and the lives they lived. Depending on the availability of records for a particular family line, the documents we may uncover during our research include:

Census Returns
The national census provides a snapshot of a household at a specific moment in time. These records typically list names, ages, occupations and places of birth, and allow us to trace families as they moved between towns, changed occupations or grew as children were born.

Parish Records
Before civil registration began in 1837, baptisms, marriages and burials were recorded in parish registers. These records can sometimes take a family line back several centuries and may also include valuable details such as occupations, residences and family relationships.

Probate Records and Wills
Wills and probate records can reveal family relationships, property ownership and personal possessions. They often mention spouses, children and other relatives, providing useful clues about the wider family network.

Military Records
If an ancestor served in the armed forces, military records may provide information about their regiment, service history, medals and sometimes even physical descriptions. For those who served in the First World War or earlier conflicts, these records can provide a fascinating insight into their military career.

Occupations and Places of Residence
Historical records often reveal where ancestors lived and the work they carried out. This can help us build a clearer picture of their everyday lives and the communities they were part of.

Criminal and Court Records
Where relevant, court records, prison registers and other legal documents can reveal unexpected details about an ancestor’s life and sometimes provide vivid descriptions of events that took place.

Emigration and Passenger Records
If members of the family moved abroad, passenger lists and migration records may reveal when they left the country, the ships they travelled on and their destination.

Sibling and Extended Family Information
Research often uncovers brothers, sisters and other relatives who may not have been previously known. Identifying these wider family connections can help us confirm relationships and extend the family tree further.

Through careful analysis of these records and many other historical sources, we are able to build a detailed and accurate picture of your family’s past.
